About Me!

Hi, I'm Laurie, and I was born to create. Interior design, graphic design, textile design; basically, if it contains the word design, I'm into it. In addition to my love of design, I've always enjoyed math and technology. 

Moving to be near family motivated my recent relocation to Dallas from Little Rock, Arkansas where I lived and worked for more than 20 years. In my professional career, my love of both art and math have been an unusual combination that has worked in my favor, allowing me to approach projects with an eye for design, as well as a desire for real-life, workable solutions. My work history has spanned varying design areas, including, corporate design and branding, graphic design, clothing and textile design, drafting, and most notably, interior design. While in Little Rock, I also developed and ran a retail interior design store which specialized in creating rooms for children. 

In my free time you'll mostly find me outside. Whether exercising, sitting on an uptown patio, or working on my laptop, if it can be done outside, that's where I'll be.  If I am inside, I enjoy painting, sewing, and movies, especially those by Wes Anderson or the Coen brothers.
